“When we live the love of the Gospel out loud, a revolution will occur.”
This declaration from Christian singer/songwriter Natalie Grant represents the heartbeat of her newest musical offering, Love Revolution, available August 24, 2010 on Curb Records. A powerhouse vocalist, heart-gripping songwriter and charismatic performer, Grant returns to the music marketplace with an unshakeable determination to remind us of the simple significance of love and the revolutionary power that it carries.
The album’s first single, “Greatness of our God,” is a ballad recognizing our fragile existence in view of God’s incomprehensible greatness. The song, written by Reuben Morgan, Jason Ingram and Stuart Garrard, continues to gain significant airplay at radio stations across the nation.
Another album stand-out, “Human,” was performed live by Grant and American Idol winner Jordin Sparks (who co-wrote the song) on the national television broadcast of the 41st Annual GMA Dove Awards in April of 2010. The song reiterates the album’s theme of change through the powerful tie that binds us all—our humanity.
Described by Grant as the album of her career, Love Revolution represents musical styles as diverse as her own influences—from soaring ballads like “Power of the Cross” and worshipful songs like “Your Great Name,” to the R&B/funk vibe heard in songs like “Beauty Mark” and “Someday Our King Will Come.” With Grant’s husband, Bernie Herms, at the helm of production, Love Revolution is a cohesive project that speaks to the hearts of listeners, motivating them to be the change that they want to see in their world, challenging each of us to start a love revolution.
The potential reach of this message, and the impact that it can have, is staggering. As GMA Female Vocalist of the Year for four consecutive years (2006-2009) and the top-selling Adult Contemporary female solo artist in 2005, 2006 and 2008, Grant is among a select number of artists to have achieved a formidable foothold at mainstream media and radio. Her 2005 breakthrough album, Awaken, received RIAA Gold certification and its follow-up, Relentless, has experienced significant sales since its 2008 release.
But it is the message of the Gospel, and the revolutionary power of love it carries, that she waves as her banner and her hope.
Beyond her artistry, she declares this message as an outspoken advocate for victims of human trafficking. The Home Foundation, which Grant created in 2005, has raised over a quarter of a million dollars to fight the trafficking of women and children for the purpose of sexual exploitation.
She works to balance these endeavors with her greatest calling—as a wife, and mother of twin daughters, Grace and Isabella. Most recently, Grant—who was told that she could never bear children—announced that she and her husband are expecting their third miracle, a baby due on Christmas Day.
Still, with the release of her newest album, Natalie Grant shows no signs of stopping. She’s determined to see the message of hope and love be a catalyst for unprecedented change in the world. “So listen with your heart open wide,” she says, “it just might start a love revolution.”

This revolutionary event features Nashville based four-time GMA Female Vocalist of the Year and 2012 GRAMMY Award® nominee Natalie Grant, alongside international speaker and author Charlotte Gambill.
Dare To Be, a brand new live women’s event birthed from a realization of a dream from two close friends, kicked off its 2012 spring tour on April 12. The tour continues through April and May (dates below). Both events this past week included a packed house of women from all walks of life aiming higher, stretching further – rediscovering their God- given dreams.

Each evening features Grant’s musical talent and Gambill’s powerful speaking, bringing to life a practical interpretation of God’s word that remains alive for our everyday challenges.
In addition to the evening programming, Grant and Gambill are honoring a local extraordinary woman in every market – someone who is currently daring to be. Anyone can be nominated by sending a nomination email to info@daretoberevolution.com and sharing why the nominee should be honored.
Last weekend, two women were honored at the Dare To Be events. In Lafayette, honoree Allison Prince is a wonderful example of a single mom working diligently to support her family while maintaining two jobs working 24-7 each week and still giving back to others in need. Crossroads Church partnered with Dare To Be and donated $1000 to Allison Prince in honor of her continuous dedication to her family and community.

2/28/2012 - Natalie Grant Raises $60,000 for Abolition International
Last Sunday on February 26, recent Dove Female Vocalist nominee Natalie Grant and The JOY FM’s morning show host, heard in Tampa and Atlanta, Carmen Brown, along with 132 team members laced up their tennis shoes and ran 13.1 miles for freedom in the 2012 Disney ? Princess Marathon in Orlando, FL. Together, “Team Freedom” raised nearly $60,000 for Grant’s foundation, Abolition International, an organization that is combating domestic and international sex trafficking through accreditation, advocacy, education, and restoration.
“Not only does human trafficking happen halfway around the world, it happens in less mileage from my home than I signed up to run,” says The JOY FM’s Carmen Brown. “We mobilized our community to shine some light in this horrible darkness. They did.”
Over the past several months, The JOY FM listeners and fans of Grant were encouraged to join “Team Freedom” and support the cause by either participating in the marathon, through financial support, or through prayer. A year later, all was reaped. Through the race participants alone, $49,281 was raised, and a generous donor matched $719 which evened the total to $50,000 for the evening. Furthermore, through online supporters, nearly $10,000 was given making the grand total almost $60,000.
“When I thought I couldn't make it to the finish line, I kept reminding myself that this was for a cause so much greater than myself,” says Grant as she reflects on the event. “I am free to run. And I will continue to fight until many others experience that same freedom.”
Earlier in the weekend, Grant gave a special intimate performance for her team as they enjoyed a carb-loading pasta dinner hosted by The Joy FM and Abolition International, where a check was presented to Grant and Abolition International for the funds raised prior to the online support. The next morning the team headed out to Orlando to prepare for and run the half marathon.
