Worship With Dirty Hands…
A cry is being raised by hearts given over to worship. As souls, spirits and minds come into alignment with the heart of God, His people are increasingly sensing that their words of praise ring hollow if not coming from hearts moved to action. And hard-working hands are rarely clean.
Poverty, disease, war, racial tensions, human trafficking and personal despair run rampant in the world God has placed us in. What is our responsibility? What is our “True Religion”? How are we to respond to desperate need? Are ours the hands of nobility and privilege, or are they calloused from the plow handle and sullied with the stains of planting seeds, tending to wounds and grasping the hands of the less fortunate? As we strain to approach the throne of God with clean hearts, maybe it’s time for our hands to bear some evidence of our “True Worship.”
The cry for God’s pure justice to be loosed via the dynamic engagement of his people; his Body, is heard in a new type of worship music emerging from the hearts of artists around the world. They are songs that echo the call of Christ for His people to tend to the “least of these.” They are songs of worship, and justice.
The God of Justice; Worship with Dirty Hands Enhanced Worship Resource Disc includes 13 new songs of worship and justice by Robbie Seay Band, Leeland, Starfield, Brenton Brown, Tim Hughes, Matt Redman, Michael Gungor Band, Ten Shekel Shirt, Matt Maher, Charlie Hall, Fee, David Crowder Band and Johnny Parks Band along with digital sheet music in multiple formats and New Song Café “webisodes.” Everything you need for enjoying the songs personally or incorporating them into worship services, youth events, small groups or concerts is right here.
The goal of WorshipTogether.com is to equip the church with new worship music and God of Justice; Worship With Dirty Hands has us very excited. Not only do we believe that these songs have the potential to bless individuals listening in their cars, but we strongly believe that this type of collection can introduce people to some spiritually, culturally and compassionately relevant artists and songs they may not have heard of. What was the last worship song you heard that made you want to get up out of your chair, right then and there, and put hand to plow in service to the least of these? These are songs that have that kind of impact. We are deeply honored to partner with these songwriters. We think the church needs music like this and we are humbled to provide it.

About World Vision and the Lifesaving Food and Care Fund
Every seven seconds a hungry child dies. As food prices soar, the poorest populations — especially children — suffer most. The current food crisis threatens to push millions of people deeper into poverty, making children even more vulnerable. World Vision is committed to providing food and care to more than 10 million desperately hungry children and their families.
Through government grants, gifts from generous supporters like Worship Together will have 6 times the impact to provide nutritious food, clean water, medical care, and other assistance to save lives in some of the world’s neediest communities.
To find out how you can do more to help to help to combat global hunger and related illnesses, please visit www.worldvision.org. Thank you for keeping these children and families in your prayers.
World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice. World Vision serves all people, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or gender.
WorshipTogether is proud to support the important work of World Vision as well as the many other groups similarly serving “The least of these.” We encourage you to visit the websites of the songwriters and artists included in this collection to learn about many more inspiring efforts to worship with dirty hands.
