Entertainer: Kalan Robinson is an inventive, unrelenting, positive force in the music industry.   Fueled by his faith in the Lord and a desire to bring Truth back to music any way possible, he is a true artist worth recognition.  He has seen a plethora of prominent artists battle their flesh and lose their identity, and subsequently distort the identity of music itself.  He is burdened by how that crucial loss of identity is reflected in millions of people around the world who act upon the confusion that they faithfully consume.  “Let me explain, it’s just simple and plain, you’re corrupted by the game, you don’t even know your name.”  Under his stage name “Kalione” he dons the mantle of a warrior for Christ (Yeshua), and uses Scripture infused lyrics to beat back the darkness and let the light of Truth shine through.  Kalione is a seasoned warrior in this arena.  He began making music during his freshman year in highschool in 1992, and rapping at his church, Calvary Christian Center.  In 1993 he made the full transition from dancing to rapping, and began taking the music of that time and recreating it along gospel patterns to shake up his environment and inject Truth into the bloodstream of entertainment.  In 1995 he performed alongside CCC Posse at the Arco Arena in Sacramento, California in front of 17,000 people, using his connection with the Truth to influence the multitudes for Christ (Yeshua).  “… My heart is in the Truth, and that’s what’s coming out of me.”  Kalione continued ministering over the years, and honing his craft, receiving inspiration from many sources including, but not limited to forerunners in Gospel Hip-Hop such as Lecrae and Trip Lee.  Heeding the call to arms yet again, Kalione collaborated with fellow rapper and laborer in the faith, Rob Dover a.k.a. Sir Guidance, and produced a mixtape entitled “I’d Rather Be Told The Truth” in 2009.  Kalione utilized that release as a springboard and is on track for an upcoming release of a solo mixtape entitled “Wild At Heart” which features three original songs and explores the true identity of man and his Lion heritage through Jesus (Yeshua).  Never one to come up for air, however, Kalione is simultaneously developing his debut album christened “Persecuted” which will examine the chapters of his life, through the lens of Scripture, in a way that uplifts and encourages his brethren in the Truth.


Person: Kalan Vaughn Robinson was born August 8, 1978 in Sacramento, California.  He was raised on the South side of Sacramento, and has been interacting with music his whole life.  Kalan’s mother and brother have supported him his whole life.  His mother’s only assertion was that he remained academically sound, and his brother supported him on the other side by continually encouraging him to perform.  His deep rooted desire to consistently bring something new to the table to positively affect others is at the base of his passions.  He loves to go bowling with people, as well as watching movies when he can and pulling nuggets of truth from them.  He also takes genuine joy in poring over the Scriptures with his brothers in Christ (Yeshua).

Mission: Kalan Robinson desires to bring people back to a right standing with God by the well trodden path of music.  Under the moniker “Kalione” he is striving his best to meet people where they are at, and deposit the Truth, so that they can get to where they are
