While the group was largely formed in 2003, some members have been playing together since 1999. A tight knit group of friends, they've enjoyed growing together musically. Their early work was leading praise and worship in their local church. They have been especially moved and inspired by their work at a church serving the inner city homeless. Recent opportunities to play their original songs live and for new audiences have AwakenUs excited for the future.
