Lost Ocean creates a driving new form of music that you need to experience. Forming in the fall of 2004, the quartet wrote enough material for a full-length album within three months of being a band. While playing some shows, Lostocean recorded eleven songs for their LP, "Douse The Choir," which features epic, piano-driven rock founded on inspiring progressions and haunting melodies that push the envelope of the pop song structure. This album fell into the hands of EMI-CMG A&R Christopher York, and in the fall of 2005, the band signed with Credential Recordings. Lostocean plans to record their Major Label Debut early 2006, and will begin to tour the US, showing the nation the creativity that sparks between these four individuals.
“Epic, shape shifting, and dynamic, Lost Ocean’s four members formed together as an inseparable unit, each member’s sonic contribution flowing seamlessly into the next until it felt as if you were watching a landscape of sound.”
- Spencer Seward, Journalist for U.C. Irvine
“You know what a genius is, right? Yeah, well there are a few in this band… You can feel it in the keyboard-piano moments that weave like a forceful narrative...That take you somewhere else; into the dream of music they create as a unique experience for each listener.”
