With Every Light was created after noticing a common theme within several lengthy conversations between singer Steve Wilson and drummer Matt Fine.  “We grew up playing worship music in church,” Fine says.  “As time went on we started bands and  slowly seemed to lose a bit of perspective for what was truly important.”

“Our generation wants to see and hear something real – something genuine,” says Wilson.  “We believe that real truth is found within scripture.”  With Every Light wants to be inspired musically by our favorite artists and inspired lyrically by Psalms and old hymns.  After a few nights of reading scripture and writing songs, Fine and Wilson called Ryan Clark and Tedd Foxx.  Being from similar backgrounds and shared experiences Clark and Foxx were ready to come in and complete the group.
