Critically acclaimed singer/songwriter Phil Wickham, known for his “atmospheric tunes and anchoring vertical lyrics” (CCM Magazine), is bringing back his popular live album with the release of Singalong2. Beginning October 30, Singalong2 will be available at all digital retailers. For a limited time, Singalong2 was available on Wickham’s site and received over 100,000 downloads in one month. The live album follows the success of Wickham’s first sing-a-long project, Singalong which was released in 2010. Singalong2 was recorded live at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa in Santa Ana, CA where Wickham set up several extra mics at his show and invited attendees to 'sing-along' live. The album will include 14 tracks from the evening’s performance along with three bonus videos.
"The idea behind the Singalong records is to capture a moment in time where a group of people who believe in the same God come together to thank Him for what He has done and worship Him for who He is. Though bells and whistles can be fun to listen to, there are none on this record, just me, a guitar, and a chorus of saints a few thousand strong."
Wickham’s first sing-a-long project, Singalong is also available at all digital retailers. The project was recorded at Wickham’s show at Solid Rock Church in Portland, OR.
Wickham is currently on tour in support of his recent release, Response, across the country. For show information, visit http://philwickham.com/tour-dates/

After selling a quarter million albums and over a half million song downloads to date, a chart topping radio single, receiving accolades for his previous three efforts and being featured in major publications such as CCM, Relevant, Worship Leader and Christian Music Today, Fair Trade Services’ recording artist Phil Wickham returns October 4, with his latest album Response.
On his fourth release, Wickham provides listeners with eleven tracks that seek to give a voice to humanity’s acceptance of God’s love in any circumstance. In the same way that the Psalms offer expressions of joy, sorrow, repentance, hope and victory, Response gives a voice to the appreciation and adoration of God in every chapter of life.
“When I see the different aspects of who God is in different situations of life, my response to that love can be seen as jumping for joy where other times I respond by saying, ‘You are Holy and I am not,’ humbled and falling on my face,” Wickham describes.
For his previous three projects- Phil Wickham (2006); Cannons (2007) and Heaven & Earth (2009), Wickham worked solely with longtime friend and producer Pete Kipley (MercyMe, Matthew West, The Afters). On Response, Wickham invited reputable producer Brown Bannister (Steven Curtis Chapman, Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith) to co-produce the album as an intentional effort to stay true to the album’s theme of voicing a collective worshipful response to God.
“There are more musicians playing on the record than I normally work with,” Wickham says. “Multiple drummers, bass players, etc and I wrote with more people on this record hoping to have these songs be an expression of everybody’s heart not just mine.”
The first single from Response, “At Your Name (Yahweh, Yahweh),” is currently receiving airplay on 26 stations nationwide, including national networks KLOVE and American Family Radio. The song has already cracked the top 15 on the INSPO radio chart and is No. 35 on the National Christian Audience radio chart. In support of the track, Wickham has been out on the road visiting radio stations across the nation including stations in Nashville, TN; Charlotte, NC; Minneapolis, MN and Kansas City, MO.
In conjunction with the new release, Wickham will also tour around the country this fall playing his new single, other songs from Response and more.

October 14, 2009…Nashville, TN…Since the release of his critically acclaimed sophomore album Cannons, distinguished singer/songwriter Phil Wickham finds his voice on his third studio album Heaven and Earth set to land on November 17.
Even with the critical acclaim he’s garnered, for the first time in his career, Wickham feels that he has a story to tell: he wants to remind the Church for what and who we are created for.
Produced by Pete Kipley (MercyMe, The Afters, Kutless) Heaven and Earth is not only an encouraging album from a lyrical standpoint, but a delight to listen to with guitar parts that feel like they are literally plucking strings connected to your chest and lonesome yet lush string arrangements, recorded at famed Abbey Road Studios.
Writing much of the record while in the studio certainly paid off for Wickham, as a story began to unfold in the songs, and for the first time Wickham found himself writing specific songs to connect the dots and join the threads that were beginning to weave themselves in and out across the tapestry that was becoming Heaven and Earth.
The first single “Safe” featuring MercyMe frontman Bart Millard, has received great support at radio debuting at No. 28 on Billboard AC Monitored and No. 27 on AC Indicator this week. The single is being played in major markets across the country including Indianapolis, Houston, St. Louis, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and more!
The lyrics of “Safe” serve to encourage, strengthen and remind listeners that they are not alone as they say, “You will be safe in His arms, You will be safe in His arms, the hands that hold the world are holding Your heart, this is the promise He made He will be with You always, when everything is falling apart you will be safe in His arms.”
“If we are Christians, we know God is great and we know what Jesus did on the cross,” says Wickham. “We know all the stories, but to be reminded of and to be compelled to move by those stories, I feel, is in a way a large part of what my goal in music is - to remind the Church of the reality of the Gospel, the importance of the cross, of the excitement and hope that we have in Heaven.”
