The sophomore album from Sparrow Records artist Kari Jobe, Where I Find You, launches to No. 10 on the Billboard Top 200 chart selling more than 24,600 copies in its first week at retail. The acclaimed album also lands this week at No. 5 on the Overall Digital Albums, No. 1 on the Overall Christian/Gospel Digital Albums, and No. 1 on the Christian/Gospel-Mainstream Retail Billboard charts.
Helping to spark the retail success is the Billboard AC Indicator No. 6 and climbing hit single “We Are” that has been viewed over 560,000 times at www.youtube.com/watch?v=B07iK9uh9qY. Tens of thousands more have experienced Jobe singing “We Are” and other new favorites live in concert during the record-breaking Winter Jam 2012 Tour, whose first 14 concerts saw over 165,000 tickets sold. Jobe, a two-time Dove Award winning, Gateway Church (Southlake, TX) worship leader, continues on the 47-city Winter Jam tour through April 1.
Produced by Ed Cash (Chris Tomlin, Chris August), who also produced Jobe’s breakout self-titled debut, and acclaimed producer Matt Bronleewe (Natalie Imbruglia, Josh Wilson), Where I Find You is an engaging project that stretches Jobe both sonically and thematically. With a RELEVANT Podcast feature slated for March, Jobe’s music and message continues to gather significant applause:
“Where I Find You raises the bar, expanding her worship sensibility and solo pop sweetness by enlisting major hooks to showcase radio-ready co-writes (with the likes of Matt Maher, Lincoln Brewster and Hillsong’s Mia Fieldes)…Jobe’s sensitive evocations make apparent her genuine worship music background.” – ChristianityToday.com
“Jobe continues to refine her sound…impassioned and accessible, as well as being expertly written and performed…her ability to create an atmosphere of spiritual searching within these songs lands her at the top of the heap, making Where I Find You an all-around winner.” – Crosswalk.com
“With an incredibly gorgeous and unique tone to her voice, but a passion behind it that can raise the church rafters, Jobe finely straddles the line of pop and worship with the abilities of someone who’s been in the game much longer than just two albums… Jobe’s delivery constantly shifts between full reverent worship and catchy pop hooks with ease, but it never sounds a stretch or at all offbeat.” – HollywoodJesus.com
“With strong, powerful vocals, cutting yet thought provoking lyrics and amazing production that takes her songs to a big, powerful arena level of great rock/praise music.... this is one ‘super-chick’ you’re not going to want to miss hearing more of.” – CreatorLeadershipNetwork.com
“This album is something special. Lyrically profound and sonically inspiring.” – AllAboutWorship.com

One of the best-selling artists in Christian music since her self-titled debut album released in 2009, Kari Jobe returns with Where I Find You Jan. 24, 2012. This will be Jobe’s first album with Sparrow Records, a division of EMI CMG Label Group, which will distribute the album from the two-time Dove Award winning, Gateway Church (Southlake, TX) worship leader into worldwide markets.
Produced by Ed Cash (Chris Tomlin, Chris August), who also produced her breakout self-titled debut, and acclaimed producer Matt Bronleewe (Natalie Imbruglia, Josh Wilson), Where I Find You is an engaging project that stretches Jobe both sonically and thematically. In addition to emphasizing the beauty found in God’s presence, Where I Find You is a clarion call for listeners to actually experience it to the fullest, even in the midst of personal storms.
“I think there are times as believers when we feel entitled and that life shouldn’t be hard. We live in this culture of convenience that says we can do everything ourselves and find all the answers on Google,” Kari says. “But if we can learn to fall more in love with the Lord and trust Him in the middle of every storm, we build our endurance to keep running the race.”
The message is clearly hitting home with listeners as Jobe’s first-ever radio hit, “We Are,” has spent multiple weeks as Billboard’s Most Added Christian single and is not only a Top 15 and climbing single on the National Audience chart, but also quickly soared to top of the iTunes Christian and Gospel chart.
“‘We Are’ is a song of commission for us as believers,” says Kari, “to be reminded of what we’ve been called to, and that is to impact people’s lives in everything we do.”
Taking the new music and message of Where I Find You to audiences coast-to-coast, Jobe is featured on Christian music’s biggest tour, Winter Jam, which begins Jan. 6 and travels to over 45 cities before wrapping up in April. One of the most respected female worship leaders in the country, Jobe also leads worship at Gateway Church, which she has done for the last nine-years. She further leads worship at conferences across the country and around the world.
Releasing her self-titled debut album in February 2009, the album went on to sell well over 250,000 copies and led to a New Artist of The Year Dove Award nomination. Taking home two Doves from the ceremony, Jobe later joined Rick Warren (Saddleback Church) to lead worship for more than 45,000 at Angel Stadium (Anaheim, CA). Having studied at Oral Roberts University, Christ For The Nations and Dallas Baptist University, where she finished her psychology and Pastoral Ministries degree, Jobe also partners with the A21 Campaign, an organization dedicated to abolishing human trafficking.
“Whether I’m participating in an effort like the A21 Campaign or leading worship, it’s all about making a difference,” Kari says. “It’s all about seeing God’s name lifted high, to encourage the hurt and the broken and to remind everyone to draw close to Him because He really, truly does care about each and every one of His children.”

Sparrow Records, a division of EMI CMG Label Group, has entered into an exclusive, long-term recorded music, marketing and distribution agreement with Kari Jobe, one of the best-selling female artists in Christian music since her self-titled debut album released in 2009. Effective immediately, Sparrow Records will represent the two-time Dove Award winning, Gateway Church (Southlake, TX) worship leader into worldwide markets.
One of the most respected female worship leaders in the country, Jobe will return to the studio in May to record her sophomore album. Ed Cash, who produced the first album, rejoins Jobe for the new project slated to release late fall.
“I’m honored and feel very blessed to now be part of the EMI family,” says Jobe. “The last few years of my ministry has grown and reached farther than I ever dreamed! I’m so excited to see what the Lord has for me next.”
“It’s an honor for our team to get the opportunity to work with Kari,” says Peter York, EMI CMG Label Group President. “We have respected her impact in the market since we first heard her music and feel grateful for the chance to represent her to the global community of faith. We look forward to building a strong and creative relationship with her that will yield a legacy of compelling songs that truly inspire the worshipping church.”
Jobe released her debut in February 2009, which featured songs by Jobe and songs cowritten with Chris Tomlin, Paul Baloche, Mia Fieldes, Ed Cash and Klaus Kuehn. The success of the album led to a New Artist of The Year Dove Award nomination and a featured peformance during the 2010 Dove Awards ceremony. Taking home two Doves from the ceremony, Jobe was later invited by Saddleback Church pastor and author Rick Warren to lead worship during Easter weekend services, which drew more than 45,000 to Angel Stadium in Anaheim, CA. Studying at Oral Roberts University, Christ For The Nations and Dallas Baptist University, where she finished her psychology and Pastoral Ministries degree, Jobe joined Gateway Church in Southlake, TX as worship pastor, a position she has now held for nearly seven years.
Whether leading worship at Gateway or in other settings around the country, for Jobe, the work of ministry always comes back to people. “I am moved by people’s lives and stories, and I am amazed by who God is and who He says that we are. Music becomes a way to minister to people in times of trouble, to lead them to the feet of Jesus who can bring peace, life, hope and healing.”

Dove Award winner Kari Jobe and Colorado worship band Desperation Band proved to be a powerful touring team during the recent “Heartwork Tour,” their first time doing worship events together, and certainly not the last.
The two artists visited churches in the American heartland cities of Fort Smith, Ark.; Irving, Texas; Tulsa, Okla.; Oklahoma City, Okla.; Lubbock, Texas; Elk City, Okla.; Colorado Springs, Colo. and Loveland, Colo. The tour was named after Heartwork, an orphan ministry first started by Desperation Band at their New Life Church in Colorado Springs, and was sponsored by New Missions, an Orlando-based ministry supported by Jobe.
At each worship event, Desperation Band and Jobe shared the stage for two hours of continuous and powerful worship. The events also included a short presentation by a tour pastor encouraging people to get involved with matters of the heart and Heartwork, specifically supporting New Missions with child sponsorship in Haiti. Nearly 300 child sponsorships were promised during the tour.
The nights of worship also provided an opportunity to introduce Heartworks’ new 1K Campaign, an endeavor to engage 1000 youth groups in 1000 orphan projects in 1000 days. An introduction video to Heartwork is found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YfdeGpxm2y8. For more information on Heartwork and the 1K Campaign, visit www.heartwork.tv.
“The great success of the Heartwork Tour was seeing thousands of kids come together and do something more, something selfless. They have started a movement that we believe will surpass any tour hype and will stand as a reminder of why we all do what we are called to do - touch lives in the most desperate places for the most desperate people. Our medium is music and worship and we are thankful for being allowed to do this. But more than that, the witness that DB and KJ have been is so powerful; it compelled kids, teens and adults to look far beyond themselves to touch the lives of children who are completely hopeless without our support,” said David Todd, tour manager.
Jobe (www.karijobe.com), who is a worship leader and pastor at Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas, was recently nominated for the Gospel Music Association’s Dove Award for New Artist of the Year. At the award ceremonies in April, she was honored with two Dove Awards and also performed on the Gospel Music Channel-televised Dove Awards singing "Revelation Song" with Phillips, Craig & Dean. Jobe released her best-selling self-titled debut in February 2009. Produced by Ed Cash, the album contains songs written by Kari as well as co-writes with worship leaders/songwriters Chris Tomlin, Paul Baloche, Mia Fieldes, Ed Cash and Klaus Kuehn.
The Desperation Band (www.desperationband.com) was birthed out of the student ministries of New Life Church in Colorado Springs and features songwriter Jon Egan. Egan’s songs are sung in churches throughout America and around the world including favorites such as “I Am Free,” “My Savior Lives,” “Overcome” and more. They continue to lead worship both within the student ministries and in the main services at New Life Church, as well as at the annual Desperation Conferences. They released their latest album 'Light Up The World' in September 2009. Light Up the World was inspired by “Heartwork,” a student-driven ministry at their church which is helping to build orphan homes in Africa and now gives its title to the band’s tour with Jobe. The students’ “HeartWork” ministry – and the new CD – began with a challenge from a local philanthropist with a heart for orphans. He challenged the youth to give $60,000, and matched that donation dollar for dollar for World Orphans (worldorphans.org).
Headquartered in Orlando, New Missions (www.newmissions.org) is a non-profit Christian organization with mission projects in Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Since 1983, New Missions has reached the poorest of the poor in Haiti with Christian education, medical care, food, and the establishment of churches. Currently, 10,000 children attend school at New Missions in Haiti.

MOBILE, Ala. – Sept. 9, 2009 – With the topic of health care now on the minds of most Americans, Integrity Music artist Kari Jobe offers a spiritual alternative to the often heated national debate with her new single "Healer," now going for adds at Christian radio.
Jobe declares God as the ultimate "healer" of physical, spiritual and emotional needs: "I believe You're my healer; I believe You are all I need." And, a new inspirational video to be released simultaneously with the song provides a family's personal testimony to the powerful message of the song.
"Healer" is the second single from Jobe's self-titled debut CD which has made her the top-selling new Christian artist of the year. The song is currently at #33 on the CRW INSP chart and is "New and Active" on the R&R (Billboard) Soft A/C chart.
"'Healer' is absolutely one of my favorite songs," says Jobe. "As believers and worshippers, it is so important that we speak the truth about the Word of God. I don't think we do it enough. Speaking and singing about Him being our healer, portion, and more than enough for us will give our spirits the strength and faith to keep standing on His Word."
The “Healer” video documents the inspiring story of the Constable family from Tulsa, Oklahoma, whose daughter Kelsie underwent multiple surgeries and chemotherapy as an infant following a diagnosis of leukemia when only 5 months old. Kelsie’s parents, Trina and Paul, say they drew strength and comfort listening to Jobe’s worship songs and playing them in Kelsie’s hospital room.
“Miraculously, Kelsie survived the ordeal without any lasting effects,” says Jobe who traveled to Tulsa to meet the family and narrate the video. “Today, she is a beautiful, happy and healthy three-year-old girl and she’s a reminder of God’s ability to heal, a reminder that as the song ‘Healer’ states, ‘Nothing is Impossible for You’.”
The “Healer” video will premiere on the Christian online community Tangle.com on Friday, Sept. 11, and will be available through a variety of web portals shortly after including, http://www.youtube.com/integritymusic and Jobe’s Facebook fan page at http://www.facebook.com/KariJobe where prayer requests and testimonies can also be shared.
For Jobe, “Healer” will undoubtedly be another significant story that has contributed to the success of her freshman record and busy debut year in Christian music.
Her first single “I’m Singing,” written by Jobe with Ed Cash and Chris Tomlin, gave her a strong launch at Christian radio, hitting the top 10 on CRW’s Inspirational chart and the top 20 on its A/C chart and on R&R’s Soft A/C and Inspirational chart.
Another song from Jobe’s album, “Revelation Song,” is fast becoming the worship song story of the year, and Jobe is an integral part of the narrative. According to CCLI’s Song Select Program, “Revelation Song” is one of the top 5 most downloaded chords by worship leaders. DALLAS, Texas (February 10, 2009) – Worship artist Kari Jobe has reason to be singing today. Her Integrity Music self-titled debut record Kari Jobe releases today and the infectious first single, “I’m Singing,” is beginning to fill the radio airwaves coast to coast.
Kari Jobe, which is both joyful and contemplative, is relevant for these uncertain times. “This album is about hope and life; it’s about lifting the broken off the floor and singing love over them,” says Jobe. “The songs create intimate moments and outward shouting, and it’s my hope that these songs find the broken and lift them to a place of praise.”
Jobe is in the middle of a street week promotional tour which started this week with a standing room only release party and concert at her home church, Gateway Church in the Dallas area Sunday night. The concert was also streamed live on the Internet, which at times was so significant, it crashed the website.
She is now onto Oklahoma, Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi where she is playing benefit concerts this week, offering the proceeds from the music events to Life Outreach International's Water for LIFE ministry. Details on those events can be found at http://www.karijobe.com/.
“I’m Singing,” written by Jobe with Ed Cash and Chris Tomlin, has given Jobe a strong launch at radio and on the Internet.
KLTY in Dallas joins a growing list of radio stations adding the song. Mike Pendergast, the station’s assistant program director and music director, explains why KLTY has embraced the song: “Great song by a fresh new artist....love the tempo...love the message....’I'm Singing’ is a hit!”
Also a hit is a YouTube video featuring fans proclaiming their reasons for “singing,” whether through challenges, obstacles or victories. Late last year, Jobe asked visitors to her YouTube site to submit video clips with short testimonies. The widespread and moving responses became the basis for the new viral video which can be found at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6DCDApaqRhA.
Jobe’s online presence is also found at hearitfirst.com where her new CD will be streaming in full for one week. She has also re-launched her own website, karijobe.com in conjunction with the album’s release.

Produced by Ed Cash, Kari Jobe contains a collection of worshipful pop/folk songs birthed from her life and journals in addition to new versions of “Revelation Song,” “No Sweeter Name” and “Beautiful” from the Gateway recordings. Co-writers on the album include Ed Cash, Chris Tomlin, Paul Baloche, Mia Fieldes and Klaus Kuehn.
Whether leading worship before thousands at Gateway or in intimate settings around the country, Jobe says the work of ministry always comes back to people. “I am moved by people’s lives and stories, and I am amazed by who God is and who He says that we are. Music becomes a way to minister to people in times of trouble, to lead them to the feet of Jesus who can bring peace, life, hope and healing.”

With more than 2,000 water wells now in use, each serving an average of 1000 villagers, it means more than 2 million people now have clean water - one of the most precious resources in life. Additional information about the mission of LIFE Outreach International is available at http://www.lifetoday.org/.
"I'm extremely excited to be partnering with Life Outreach International in my ministry and for my tour. Their mission to raise money to drill water wells in villages where people are dying for lack of fresh water, in turn giving them life and hope is a work very close to my heart. What an incredible joy for me to join with them,” said Jobe.
"We at LIFE Outreach International are honored to be a part of Kari Jobe's tour. Kari's ability to draw others into worship is only a reflection of her heart to serve the Lord. We are excited to see the Lord continue to use Kari to reach believers and non-believers with the love of Christ," said Jim Rogers, Executive VP of LIFE Outreach International.
In addition to her concert performances, Jobe will be leading worship at the CFNI (Christ For The Nations) chapel service in Dallas on Tuesday morning Feb 10 and Oral Roberts University Chapel in Tulsa on the morning of Wednesday Feb 11, the latter of which is open to the public.
