iShine LIVE!, a unique faith-based concert tour designed specifically for kids under the age of 13 and their families, will head back out on the road this fall, hitting at least 10 cities nationwide in October and November. The power-packed, high-energy 2-hour event will feature performances from Mission Six, The Rubyz and iShine newcomer Caroline Grace, formerly of the top-selling tween act PureNRG.
"The iShine LIVE! Tour is always something that I look forward to every year,” says Mission Six frontman Noah Hayden. “To get on stage and have a great time with kids just like me, is just always a really awesome time. It's also truly humbling to be able to be a part of leading my generation in worship at the end of every show!"
In addition to featuring popular artists heard on Radio Disney, this year’s event will also integrate characters from the popular Saturday morning TBN series iShine KNECT, with Season 3 premiering in November.
“Over the last few touring seasons, it has been so fulfilling seeing the spiritual impact that iShine LIVE! has on kids at this critical age,” says Robert Beeson, iShine’s founder and Chief Creative Officer. “This year, with our growing television audience, we are excited to start to incorporate TV elements and characters into the live show.”

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, Fervent Records young trio sensation pureNRG (comprised of Caroline, Carolyne, and Jordan) are giving thanks for their many blessings as they celebrate the release of the group’s last album together Graduation: The Best of pureNRG, available now on their website www.purenrgonline.com and at all Christian retailers. In just a few years pureNRG has accomplished more than most artists twice their age and are excited to move on to the next chapter in their lives. One blessing that they are particularly thankful for has been their work with Family Christian Stores' Foundation The James Fund, a non-profit organization dedicated to meeting the needs of orphans and widows around the world. To date, this talented group has raised over 60K to aid orphans in Mexico and The Dominican Republic.
Committed to spreading their ministry, pureNRG has taken two trips to Monterrey, Mexico to visit the area’s orphanage. While there, they played with the children, cleaned, cooked and performed.
“On our first trip to Monterrey, we sat all of the children down, washed their feet and then gave them all brand new socks and shoes,” remembers Caroline. “Their eyes just lit up and from that moment on, we knew that’s what we were called to do.” The group donated the proceeds from the pre-sales of their third album The Real Thing to The James Fund, which provided the funds to purchase hundreds of socks and shoes for orphans in Mexico and The Dominican Republic.
“On this trip, we also learned that there was one poorly running van that should only fit eight people and was being used to transport over 50 children at once,” says Jordan. “We made a promise to the children that we would come back with a bus. And, we did!” The trio returned to Mexico in the fall of 2009 with a 48-passenger bus in tow and presented it to the entire orphanage.
Most recently, proceeds from Family Christian’s pre-sale of pureNRG’s last release Graduation: The Best of pureNRG has raised the funds to help keep the doors open on an orphanage that was about to close down.
pureNRG first burst on the scene with their 2007 self-titled Fervent Records debut and became a hit with both mainstream and Christian music audiences. Buoyed by exposure on Radio Disney, the group immediately developed a loyal fan base, who embraced pureNRG’s upbeat pop anthems, fused with soul nourishing spiritual truths. Since then the trio has followed with their 2008 sophomore set “Here We Go Again,” “A pureNRG Christmas” and a remix collection “reNRGized,” released early in 2009. They’ve also released three DVDs including, “Sing and Dance” and “Live and More.” They’ve also maintained a hectic tour schedule including such plum performances as Disney’s Night of Joy, the Winter Jam tours in 2008 and 2009 and opening for Casting Crowns on their Christmas tour.

However, I am looking forward to some parts of my life that will be different after we end in December. One thing that I am looking forward to is being on the cheerleading team at my high school next year!! I'm excited about the friendships I will hopefully make with the upper classmen! I am also looking forward to more time that I will get to spend with my family. I am a HUGE homebody and I really enjoy spending time with my family, so this is a great opportunity to strengthen those relationships! One last thing that I will enjoy after we have taken our final bow is the time with friends!”

Nashville, TN (October 28, 2009) - One of Christian music’s top-selling and top touring acts, tween group pureNRG recently returned from a mission trip to Monterey, Mexico with representatives from Word Entertainment, Family Christian Stores, The James Fund and Back2Back Ministries.
Thousands of new shoes are being purchased for orphans and needy children in Mexico and the Dominican Republic because of the great response to pureNRG’s The Real Thing pre-sale through Family Christian Stores earlier this year. The James Fund is coordinating the shoe distribution effort, aided by Payless ShoeSource. While in Mexico, the team ministered to children by washing their feet, putting on socks and then fitting them for a pair of new shoes from Payless.
Steve Biondo, Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Family Christian Stores and President of Family Christian Stores’ The James Fund, was part of the team that traveled to Mexico and said, “The work of distributing the shoes was a huge blessing and very emotional for the team. In the area we served, conditions are dramatically desperate, as families live with no running water, no plumbing, and in shelters made of discarded debris. We washed hundreds of precious feet, fitted the children for shoes, placed new socks on their feet, and then put new shoes on their feet. And really, that is what it was all about - showing the kids that they are loved, respected, and valued by Jesus.”
In addition to serving the children of Monterey, pureNRG helped patch roofs and even put on a free concert during their stay. “Our favorite part of the mission trip was washing the kids’ feet and giving them new shoes,” stated pureNRG. “We hated to leave them and can’t wait to go back and see them again soon!”
pureNRG’s eagerly awaited new CD, The Real Thing, has hit the highest mark in the group’s three-year career for first week sales, with 21,545 total units sold, giving the group the high ranking of #20 on Billboard’s Top 200 Chart and #1 on the Christian Soundscan chart.
“We are thrilled at the street-week success of pureNRG’s latest release,” states Rod Riley, COO of Word Entertainment. “I’m proud of Jordan, Caroline and Carolyne and excited to see fans engage in their music and message in such a significant way. Word thanks management, our retail, on-line and media partners for their support of pureNRG and continuing to build this faith-based tween brand.”
Physical retail played a huge part in the success of the project. A pre-sale with the 300-store national chain, Family Christian Stores, accounted for a significant percentage of first week scans through a partnership with FCS’s ministry arm, The James Fund, resulting in the purchase of thousands of shoes for orphans in third world countries. The group also hosted an exclusive video chat on street day to all pre-sale purchasers of the album. Creative floor displays in the shape of a school locker and an exclusive pureNRG messenger bag added to the in-store presence and showcased the commitment from Family Christian Stores and The James Fund. Additionally, an exclusive 24-page activity book with Lifeway Christian Stores added to the pureNRG-focused endcap in the chains 150+ stores.
There were numerous online contests, promotions, and partnerships with pureNRG to help promote the new project. iTunes featured The Real Thing on their Christian/Gospel and Pop home pages and Yahoo! Kids positioned pureNRG on its homepage and added a dedicated music carousel on the music page.
Media is also in agreement about the strength of The Real Thing with Hearitfirst.com and NewReleaseTuesday.com running homepage podcasts on pureNRG street week. Charisma’s “The Buzz” exclaims, A caution to young fans: Keep your copy of this CD in a safe place—your parents might take it for their own collections. JesusFreakHideout.com says, In fact, if there was any music that parents of tweens would want their kids to listen to, this would be it. Christian Music Review adds, I think just about anybody could find something to love about this CD. Upcoming media includes a review on ChristianMusicToday.com, August feature in Cross Point Magazine, homepage feature of performance with interview on Clubhouse magazine’s website, Focus On The Family radio interview and an interview on the mainstream website, Hollywood Teen ‘Zine.
pureNRG has been touring aggressively leading up to the release of this project. The past nine months has seen the group perform for over half a million people as part of the 14-date Casting Crowns Christmas Tour and the 36-date Winter Jam Tour earlier this year. Their busy schedule doesn’t slow down as the next few months include the Creation West Festival in July, a second appearance in August at the American Airlines Center in Dallas at a Ringling Brother’s Circus event and a missions trip to Mexico in October.
pureNRG is just one of the many artists partnering with Word Entertainment in a multiple rights relationship. As detailed in the July 18th issue of Billboard Magazine, the entertainment company is working with artists on many levels – including booking, merchandise, website development and e-commerce. In conjunction with the release of The Right Thing, Word has launched clubNRG, a free fan club found on pureNRG’s office site, www.pureNRGonline.com, the hub for all things pureNRG. As a clubNRG member, fans can access exclusive videos, photos, giveaways and discounts to the pureNRG store while interacting with other fans around the country.
Christian music’s favorite tween group, pureNRG, is scheduled to release their fourth studio album (including a Christmas album) on Fervent Records, July 14, 2009. The Real Thing was once again produced by the winning team of Rob Hawkins (Jackson Waters) and Mark Hammond (Everlife, Cheetah Girls, Ashley Tisdale).
“It’s unbelievable that we’re already releasing our fourth studio album this summer,” says pureNRG. “We had fun recording the new CD and think that our fans will like it. We can’t wait to start performing the new songs for everyone on our upcoming tour dates.”
The new project showcases upbeat dance numbers and ballads that spotlight the strong vocals of pureNRG, while also displaying a new maturity for the three members. (Jordan is now 16, Caroline, 14 and Carolyne, 13). The album has ten new songs with three sing-a-long versions of “Here We Go Again,” “Footloose,” and the new up-tempo, “Radio,” which explains how the airwaves brings Christ’s love through music and beams it across the world. The title track is a tribute to how Jesus is the real thing, the touching ballad, “Before The Sun Goes Down,” details how each of us should repent our sins before the day is done, with another ballad, “Sweet Jesus,” exalting Jesus as our refuge and friend. “Cover Of A Magazine,” tells the listener to put their self-worth in Christ instead of what’s popular in modern culture.
Fervent Records is offering exclusive pre-sale promotions in conjunction with The Real Thing. Fans can purchase advance autographed copies of the album at pureNRG’s website (www.pureNRGonline.com), or buy “The Real Thing” bundle that includes a t-shirt and poster along with the new CD. “The Real Thing” Summer Fun Pack is a must for any tween, besides the autographed CD, poster, and t-shirt, fans will receive a pureNRG multi-colored beach ball, beach towel and purple sunglasses.
pureNRG just returned from their first international tour in Norway and did four performances for the Soul Children’s Festival. It was an educational event with 1500 school age children from Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Ireland who were taught new music under several different conductors. pureNRG provided entertainment for the festival with three performances at the Konserthuset, which is similar to a performing arts center and once at Jernbanetorget, which is an outdoor mall. While in the country, pureNRG also got to do some sightseeing with a tour of the Royal Palace and a beautiful boat ride in the city of Oslo.
pureNRG has a busy schedule ahead of them that includes the Creation West Festival in July, a second appearance in August at the American Airlines Center in Dallas at a Ringling Brother’s Circus event and a missions trip to Mexico in October.

(Nashville, Tenn.) March 31, 2008 ---- Last year's top-selling new artist at CBA retail, Fervent Record’s tween group, pureNRG, eagerly awaits the release of its sophomore project, Here We Go Again, on April 29, 2008.
“It’s high energy and it’s also something that you can let your kids listen to,” says group member Carolyne. “Parents will feel very at ease with the CD and the songs because of the message and the energy. They know their kids will be having fun, but also listening to good music.”
Because pureNRG’s ministry and music is a safe outlet for teens and children, the group has been endorsed by The International Network of Children’s Ministry, the premier organization in America for training and resourcing Christian leaders around the world to minister to children. In addition to the support of international organizations, pureNRG has also received the seal of approval from parents around the world.
“As parents, we feel we can support a group like pureNRG because of their positive messages that are such a better influence on young people than the false messages they are bombarded with in our society,” says Janelle Honn of Fort Wayne, Indiana. “We appreciate the modest clothes and messages like in the song, ‘Someday.’ Of course, the Godly testimonies of Christ and His love and living a life for Him plant such deep truths in young hearts. Thank you, thank you!!”
A combination of high-octane energy and lyrical integrity lies at the core of pureNRG’s success and is once again showcased on Here We Go Again. At the helm are producers Rob Hawkins and Mark Hammond, who steered the group’s successful debut effort. The title track and first radio single "Here We Go Again" open the album followed by the good time vibe “Any Which Way.” Also in the track listing are the light-hearted anthem “Girls Can Change The World,” “BFF,” “Get Up” and “Are You Ready.” Also among the album's ballads is a beautiful cover of the Nicole C. Mullen classic, “Call on Jesus."
Street week will find group members Caroline, Jordan and Carolyne of pureNRG in Grand Rapids, Michigan for six school performances and the group will appear at both Spirit West Coast festivals this summer. And there will be an announcement soon of two upcoming Radio Disney events in San Francisco, CA that will feature pureNRG.
Coming off the recent Jump5 farewell tour and Winter Jam 2008, where the group played to over 300,000 enthusiastic fans, pureNRG will take the stage at both Creation Northeast 08 and Creation Northwest 08 music festivals. The group will be featured on the covers of Brio in May and Clubhouse in October.
