Universal Music/Dream Records artist, Coffey Anderson is slated release his self-titled album on September 28, featuring 11 original songs along with a music video for the album’s first single, “You Are All I’m After.” Coffey, who was a top finalist on the television show Nashville Star, is on a national tour with Press Play, playing to audiences of 2,000- 10,000 nightly, throughout 2010 & 2011. A portion of the proceeds from album sales benefit the Dream Center and its nationwide ministry.
Through YouTube, Coffey Anderson, has quickly grown a loyal international following for his “how-to” videos showing viewers how to play pop songs, praise songs and some of his own tunes and now, with his new album, fans will finally be able to own some of his most popular songs including “All Ye” and “Better Today (Wedding Version)” which has over a million You Tube views alone. The new album was self produced in his bedroom and mixed by Tony P (Toby Mac, Third Day, Newsboys).
Inspiration is something that comes easily for Coffey Anderson, which is why he has built his new album around this theme. “My mission is to take inspirational music that you might hear on Sunday and turn it into something you want to listen to all week,” he explains. “You want that message to get you through the week—that you are going to carry on and make it through whatever you’re dealing with.”
The Los Angeles Dream Center serves more than 40,000 people each week in the L.A. area alone, through its feeding programs and outreach to the poor and needy and in 180 + locations across the U.S. Today, the original Dream Center, located in the heart of poverty and hopelessness in central L.A., has over 700 people in its various in-house programs.
