We're well above lame Relient K jokes and spurious musical references to bands you may or may not know, at least in the introduction to this Run Kid Run review.
Of all the grungy adrenaline-fueled Relient K sound-alikes, Run Kid Run might just be the one that rises out of the heap. Sure, you have your eleventysevens and Stellar Karts, and Hawk Nelsons (although they would never want to fall into the goofy rock camp), and [fill in six other bands coming out this year], but RKR doesn't really want to mess around with any sort of silly double-entendres or Sady Hawkins dances.
