What is hearitfirst.com?
hearitfirst.com is an online community dedicated to the artists and the fans of Christian music.
How do I use the ratings system and get my favorite artists and songs into the Top 5?
To use the ratings system, first you must be logged in. Once you are logged in, scroll over the ratings stars next to artists, songs, and videos to give them a rating of 1 - 5. You can rate artists from their landing pages in the Artists section. You can rate songs by going in to the discographies of your favorite artists and rating the tracks there. Each week the Top 5 will be updated on the homepage, but click on All Time to see the All Time Top 5 Artists and Songs.
What is 6 Degrees?
6 Degrees is a unique way for you to discover new music! Simply click on the name of an artist you're familiar with and the 6 Degrees engine will recommend 6 similar artists. Click on that artist name for more detail.

I would like to be featured in your Indiescovery section, how do I submit my information?
Thanks for your interest! Please give us detailed information including your website and how we can listen to your music online. You can send that to submission@hearitfirst.com. If you are interested in hearitfirst.com selling your independent records in our store, please contact us at info@hearitfirst.com.
I've found incorrect information on an artist page, or I'd like to recommend an artist for the Artists section of the website. How do I let you know?

I can't seem to get any videos to play. What am I doing wrong?
First, make sure you're logged in. Watching videos is one of the benefits of a free hearitfirst.com membership. If you're still having problems it's possible you need to update your media player or browser. For the latest, download at www.windowsmedia.com or www.real.com. If it's your browser, download the latest version of Google Chrome.
I submitted a photo and I haven't seen it on the website.
We screen all submitted photos for content so it's possible we haven't had a chance to upload yours yet. If it's been a while, check in with us at info@hearitfirst.com to make sure we've received it.

How do I unsubscribe or modify my newsletter subscription?
If you do not want any email from hearitfirst.com, or if you wish to make a change in your subscription, then we want to make sure it is easy for you to do. Just go to your Membership Profile to make the changes you want.
I tried to unsubscribe my email address but your site says that I am not in the database. What do I do now?
First double check your email address that you typed in. If is is off by even one character then it will give you a "not found" response. If your email is entered correctly, then send an email to info@hearitfirst.com and we will remove your email address manually.
News + Tour
There aren't tour dates listed for every artist. How do I find out tour information?
We are supplied our tour information from itickets.com. If we do not have tour dates for the artist you're searching, try checking out their artist website.

I have a question about my order, who do I contact?

What is the Return Policy on hearitfirst.com?
You may return most items sold by hearitfirst.com within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. See the sections below for more detail.
hearitfirst.com will also pay the return shipping cost if the return is a result of our error. Please note that we are unable to exchange items unless, you received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item.

We cannot accept returns of certain items, including:

Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
Any CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened (taken out of its plastic wrap).
Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged, or is missing parts.
Any product missing the serial number or UPC.
Gifts: If the item you're returning was not designated as a gift when purchased or if it was not shipped directly to you from Hearitfirst.com, please note that the refund will be issued to the gift giver, or party that paid for the item.

Returning Music CDs CDs, music cassettes, and vinyl records purchased from hearitfirst.com are easily returned to Hearitfirst.com within 30 days of receipt of shipment. These items must be unopened and still in their plastic wrap.

Returning DVDs DVDs purchased from hearitfirst.com are easily returned to hearitfirst.com within 30 days of receipt of shipment. These items must be unopened and still in their plastic wrap.

Returning Electronics Electronics [such as Singing Machine(r) brand Karaoke machines] purchased from hearitfirst.com are easily returned to us within 30 days of receipt of shipment. These items must be in new condition with original packaging and accessories. We cannot accept returns of products missing the serial number or UPC; we will not issue refunds for such items.

Return Information:

To return product, simply complete the "Return/Exchange Product" form which accompanied your shipment and enclose with the product you are returning along with a copy of your invoice. Mail the above items to the address indicated on the "Return/Exchange Product" form for a full refund. When returning product, please consider insuring the shipment as Hearitfirst.com is not responsible for lost shipments.

If you do not have a "Returning Product" form, please e-mail us at info@hearitfirst.com to obtain a copy.

Defective or Damaged Product Refunds will not be available on defective CD's or DVD's. In the event that you receive a defective product, simply return the item(s) using the "Return/Exchange Product" form and hearitfirst.com will replace the item with a good copy of the original title(s) purchased.
