Breathing Room is a band of four musicians who collectively have an impressive legacy of experience in the Los Angeles area.

Kevin Dukes, the guitarist and producer, toured and/or recorded with the likes of Billy Joel, Jackson Browne, Don Henley, Boz Scaggs, and Chicago, and has found as much work in town playing sessions and songwriting as he has out of town in his touring days.

Dan Franklin, bass player and vocalist, is one of those guys that can play every instrument. Dan has toured with several major label country artists, including Kelly Coffey, Drew Davis and Aaron Lines. Besides much recording, he has also recently released his own independent record, "Til the Red Lights Fade".

Our newest member on drums, Dave Owens, brings much experience to the Breathing Room table. Having toured with Thomas Dolby, Fernando Ortega, Matthew Von Doren, Franklin Graham Crusade, and the Harvest Praise Band, he also played a 3-year stint as the pit drummer for the L.A. production of Lion King.

Jan Roper, lead vocalist and keyboardist, has led a double life as worship leader and music director of a large church in the L.A. area for the last 11 years, along with many other live gigs and sessions squeezed in around that. She has written, arranged and produced many CDâ?Ts for her church, including "Jerusalem A.D.", an interactive musical about the Passion of Christ. ...
