Formed during the summer of 2005 in Spokane, WA, Seven Years Absence began as a musical outlet for three of the band members, Nick, Brian, and Alan. After jamming together for nearly two months, the trio decided that they had the drive and determination to form a serious band, a band that would have a message to share.
"We don't do praise songs, but we are a Christian-based band," explains Nick, "For those who look deeper, theybll find the spiritual themes of our songs. But, it's not so in-your-face that it will scare non-believers away."
The first thing they did was book studio time to jump start the process. During the next few months recording forced the band to add two new members, Casey and Mike in order to, not only expand the musical quality of the songs, but to give the band the ability to do live shows.
Now with a few shows under their belts, a growing fan base, and a demo recorded, Seven Years Absence is ready to reach the masses and show everyone what theybre about, and share their message.... |
