After years of being involved with different worship bands
and leading worship within the church, Ben, Caleb, Jared,
and Sam met in college and formed Awestruck in 2005.
The band was created to bring their personal experiences
to worship. With an aggressive acoustic rock style, the
band desires to connect and lead others to worship
through their original worship songs.
The band consists of Ben Picker (lead guitar, vocals, and
keys), Caleb Ihrig (bass, vocals), Jared Picker (drums,
percussion), and Sam Chase (lead vocals, acoustic
guitar). Before Awestruck various band members have
had experiences playing at the Cup of Joy in Green Bay,
Lifest, Basic Books, Green Lake Conference Center, The
Spirit Zone, and a number of churches around Wisconsin.
With the recent completion of our demo, we have already
begun to schedule dates around the Fox Valley.
The band continues to develop with the pursuit of a
deeper worship experience. Our desire is to use the gifts,
songs, and musical style that God has blessed us with for
His glory. We hope to make Awestruck a full-time
ministry; sharing our songs, encouraging worship leaders,
and developing worship teams within the church.
