Amy has a unique flair that is energized and pristine. Her songs emerge as expressive musical statements reflecting both world and spiritual complexities, as well as an inner will and hope toward overcoming difficulties while experiencing the joys of this life. Her music mirrors spiritual optimism with a slight alternative rock twist. Amy's diverse material has grown stronger and her hallmark collections of over thirty original songs are filled with compelling melodies and incisive lyrics. Through poignant emotional passages such as her songs "70x7" and "Endless With You", Amy demonstrates that she has a talent to be reckoned with and a voice to be heard. Her first CD was released in 2004 with 13 original songs. Amy's fresh sound and style won the title of Best in Corpus Christi, Texas for the 2003 "Got Milk? Shake Stuff Up Tour". And, her song "Circles" had its first radio airplay in 2004 with Candle 88.1 in Austin, Texas. Amy is aggressively pursuing a career as a full time singer/songwriter, acting as her own manager and booking agent. She continues to compose and perform regularly in the Austin Metro Area. Her next release will be a single entitled "7 a.m.", which she is co-producing. What the future holds for this young talent is anyone's guess, but like her music, it is sure to turn heads.... |
