MISSION STATEMENT
With purpose, poetry, and passion, we choose to follow Jesus Christ and the ministry example He set: To go out into the highways and hedges and compel souls to come in. We pray that our ministry will bring edification to the body of Christ and be a hand of comfort and healing to an aching world in need of His love.
BIO
Candlefuse is made up of four guys with diverse musical backgrounds who share one common goal: a desire to serve God with their abilities. They are not just another rock band in a world of a few too many, but a ministry designed to reach out to a world of Christians and non-Christians alike as a testimony of God's love.
Candlefuse's guitar-driven, yet melodic rock appeals to a largely diverse audience, and their high-energy live show has attracted a following of all ages. In January 2004, they placed first in the Bash of the Bands competition at Dekalb Theater and won the audience choice vote of a sell-out crowd. In the spring, they made their national television debut on INSP. In late 2004, Candlefuse had the pleasure of working with Dove-award winning Barry Blair (formerly of Audio Adrenaline) on a new EP. It features five, original songs produced by Barry Blair and mixed by Skidd Mills (Skillet, Third Day). Today, their live show and their solid EP have created a national fanbase from all walks of life. They also have shared the stage with such notable acts as Kutless and Barlow Girl. The band also toured with the 2005 Extreme Tour and performed at Cornerstone Festival in Orlando, FL. They released their first national radio single, "Bulletproof," in March of 2005. In August 2005, they taped a guest appearance and performed live for Steel Roots TV, a national television program geared toward extreme sports and cutting edge music. They have just finished recording five more songs with Barry Blair, and plan to release a full length CD in mid 2006 through INFINITY/Central South Distribution.
