Wherever you go, there is always that one crazy white boy with the spikey hair. Chef Rocka is that crazy white boy with the spikey hair, and Biola is his hype man extraordinaire that sets it off Nigerian style. Together, with their quick wit and catchy beats, Chef Rocka and Biola deliver a memorable performance on stage and in the studio. Musically, Chef Rocka and Biola fuse Hip Hop's sampling and emceeing, the energy and defiance of rock, and the emotions of live instruments to bring the message of Jesus Christ to the people that need it.
Chef Rocka has been a performing artist for almost a decade. Chef is formerly of the group The Shogunz, who released an EP in 2006 entitled "Kung Foo Beatdown." In 2002, Chef Rocka started The Shogunz with fellow emcees Ash and Lemar (aka Crossfire). The group garnered local attention and radio play on a few shows, including Tonex's Club Virtue. Since the group's recent breakup, Chef Rocka has been rockin' shows and eating mics for breakfast with hype man, Biola.
Currently, Chef Rocka and Biola are working on a solo album slated for release in the summer of 2007. In conjunction with the album, he is planning a summer tour with r&b gospel singer, A Natural.
