Formed in Los Angeles, CA in November of 2004, NINEREDD means "The Blood of Jesus Christ." NINEREDD's main goal is to share the good news of Jesus Christ's redemption, our medium being live and recorded music. We aren't just about the musicianship. The band has much more to provide listeners with than it's powerful rock grooves and our brand of catchy popular rock n' roll. When one takes a listen and a look into our music and lyrics, the message speaks to and nourishes the soul. Rather than ignoring the hardships of life, the band seeks to reveal a way through them. We seek to illuminate a path through the darkness and negativity that runs rampant in the world. The bands songs speak of hope, forgiveness, repentance and change. We seek to remind you why we are Christians in the first place and encourage you to take the next step in reaching who we are meant to be through Christ's plan for us. In the song "Everyday," the band touches on the realization that God is always with us, regardless of where we find ourselves in life. Those who aren't Christians need not feel left out. In "Far From Home," the band shares the message of Jesus Christ in ways that everyone can relate to and understand, regardless of our place in life. The band deals with harsh realities, like suicide in "Dont Walk Away," rejection in songs like "Broken" and the loss of a loved one in is the plot in "I Miss You." Nineredd shares from it's own experiences and trials, while offering positive solutions to these difficult situations. Nineredd has a strong drive to share the news of Jesus Christ and create the best music possible. Music is the bands passion and the driving force for our positive, spiritual message. With extreme dedication to our craft and a strong desire to reach out to those who are hurting in the world, 9R is determined to achieve nothing less than our musical best on record and on tour, while sharing the incredible news of Jesus Christ.
Debut album “Far from home” has strong messages and displays the big difference between living life with God and without God. It’s also great experiencing the love, forgiveness and power of Christ !
