Founder and lead singer of the Morgan Guin Band, Morgan Guin has been leading worship actively for over ten years. Starting in her youth worship band while in high school and continuing on in volunteer and hired positions from that point on, worship was something Morgan fell in love with from a young age.
Today, the MGB leads worship for events across the US. Morgan continues, “The goal is something a lot bigger than just a typical church worship experience. We want to engage the audience in an authentic encounter with the mighty God. That’s why what we write covers a wide gamut of topics - everything from life, love, loss, disappointment, confusion, excitement, your first crush, your first break-up, and basically anything and everything we as humans experience. We want young people to see that being a Christian is not a mindless, blissful experience that has no touch of reality. We want them to hear through our lyrics that God is interested in getting involved in our every-day lives. He wants all of us, not just what we give Him on Sunday mornings.”
With fresh lyrics and a new sound, MGB is pushing the envelope of Christian music, redefining the worship experience by bridging the gap between the sacred and the secular, and as a result, reaching those who are searching to fill their souls with something real.
Morgan says, “Bono spoke the heart of a young generation when he sang, ‘I still haven’t found what I’m looking for.’ I suppose our goal is to say to the upcoming generation, ‘We HAVE found what we were looking for and if you listen to what we’ve got to say, you just might, too.... |

So what is this God thing all about? This is the question teens across America ask themselves everyday. The Morgan Guin Band comes to bring light to the Creator of the universe, not by bringing cliché tunes and over-used lyrics, but with a fresh approach. The band's desire is to bridge the gap between the sacred and the secular, targeting those who fall somewhere in between. Maybe they would follow Christ if they understood Him. That's where the Morgan Guin Band comes in. The lyrics are about life, the music speaks to the soul, and the mission: show the lost who Christ is and what the Christian life is like. No, it's not always glamorous; no it's not always a piece of cake. But it's real, it's relevant, and it calls out, from somewhere deep inside.

Currently, the Morgan Guin Band leads worship for various church youth groups via rallies, camps, Disciple Now Weekends, services, and more. We are hoping to find a church in our area to volunteer on a regular basis in the near future.
