uniSEF is a 3 piece punk rock group based out of Boise ID, and has been around for roughly 2 years.
uniSEF started as a solo project for Sef after moving to Boise. He bought some recording software for his PC and started writing/recording music all on his own, attempting to have the feel of a full punk rock band. People started hearing the music on websites such as myspace.com and purevolume.com and started to inquire about him playing shows, which, obviously, could not be done alone.
With a strong desire to play, Sef decided to pick up the acoustic guitar and convert a few songs he had written and recorded into acoustic songs. This allowed him to play locally.
After a couple of local gigs, Sef met Tyler, who, after a few minutes of conversation, told Sef that he was very interested in playing bass guitar in a punk band. After just a short period of time he decided to join up with uniSEF. Tyler's good friend, and drummer, Reece was also willing to join up with the group to make it a full 3 piece band.
After being together for about 9 months and playing a number of shows locally, uniSEF decided to start writing and preparing for a full length CD.
The new CD, "Can These Bones Live?" was then released on April 1st of 2007... |
