Becki Ryan felt it her entire life; the call to Worship! As a little girl she would boldly say she was going to sing for Jesus someday to lots of people. With the help of her family, she started singing locally, in her hometown of Bellevue, Washington, a neighboring city of Seattle. Becki began singing in churches, at community and city events, and local venues.
Right after high school, with her independence and familial support, Becki moved away from the comfort of her hometown. Her destination: Nashville, Tennessee. While studying a full course-load at Belmont University, Becki still carved out time to immerse herself in the local scene, playing at places including Gibson, Jammin' Java, and Belmont University. As other professional singing opportunities started to present themselves in the pop/rock genre Becki and her now husband decided to venture out to Los Angeles. Knowing exactly what she "thought" she wanted to accomplish, she decided to pursue a record deal singing and performing pop/rock music.
As Becki began to play the clubs in Los Angeles and Seattle she knew in her heart that the music she was creating and performing wasn't fulfilling the deeper calling that the Lord had on her life even from a young age. After a year of developing as a songwriter and club performer the Lord was very clearly calling her away from that scene and back to Worship. For three years now Becki has been one of the lead worshipers at her home church. Calvary Chapel Metro in Santa Monica, CA. She has been blessed to have sung on major release records and TV/Radio commercials for income. These years have been an amazing time of spiritual growth, a time to pour into the women's ministry leading Worship, and a time of waiting patiently on the Lord. She and her husband now reside in the Seattle area leading worship at a Calvary Chapel there.
Becki's vision and purpose is clear. Living a lifestyle of Worship and calling the Church back to the foot of the cross. Becki just finished production on her first full length (11 songs) offering of Worship through Eb+Flo Records produced by Monroe Jones (Chris Rice, Third Day, Building 429, Ginny Owens). It is a project bathed in prayer that she prays brings truth and life to the nations.
What are church/ministry leaders saying?:
“I enjoy how sensitive you are to the leading of the Holy Spirit in your song selections, and in the presentation of the songs. I wish you were here to lead our fellowship. So to the Pastor or worship leader, if the Lord is leading you to consider Becki I believe your fellowship will benefit from her Spiritual Maturity and leading.” -----Pastor Dan Tuttle, Calvary Chapel Savannah, GA
“I would like to highly recommend Becki Ryan for any ministry that is looking for a musician, artist and true sister of the faith who is still keeping it real and simple. Becki has not allowed her talent, gifting, and creativity to get in the way of her integrity, compassion and desire to see God minister to a lost people. She and her family are an absolute blessing to be around and minister with. I hope you will consider her for your ministry.” -----Pastor Terry Webb, Calvary Chapel Bend, OR
“Becki Ryan has an amazing heart for worship and is very grounded in God’s Word. I believe that her calling is to awaken the church to worship the living God. She has traveled with our ministry around the world and has been a true blessing to those she led in worship.” -----Pastor Tyler Lennon, Life Connections International
“Becki Ryan is one of those people who you can connect with immediately. She is a example of someone whose life and faith in Christ are wonderfully integrated. Becki is also a very gifted singer and musician whose heart for the Lord is conveyed in her song writing, set selection, and worship style. I think anyone who invites her to their church would be greatly blessed as we were!” -----Pastor Mike Finizio Harvest, NYC
