For His Glory is a Christian praise band, that exists for no other reason than to worship their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The band was formed in the summer of 2005 after a week in Nashville, Tennessee at church camp. A group of people inspired from camp decided to start their own praise and worship band. What started as a dream soon turned into a reality. They started to scrap up equipment and were soon practicing every week. The band started playing on Sunday nights at their church and began getting more and more support. They then branched off and started playing at different churches for various events. In 2006, they opened up for the band Elsewhere at a local youth rally. Since then, For His Glory has played at many different churches and events ranging from revivals to playing at local coffee shops. The band just recently finished recording their first CD, “Reflection of You.” It features seven of their original songs and their versions of four popular hymns. The band looks forward to the future, and what it has to hold. They are excited about what God is doing in their life, and how he is using their music to reach others. ... |
