Bodhi DuLac Band

Grass Valley's own Bodhi DuLac once aspired to one thing only: to be the world’s greatest heavy metal guitarist. When he met Jesus Christ, his dream changed. Now, he says, he was created to worship, and that is what he intends to do. Rock star dreams have transformed into a passion for the lost and conflicted youth of today. Still a rocker at heart, he has expanded his repertoire to include a wider (but still cool!) musical range that remains edgy and clearly reflects being totally sold out for Christ. Today’s youth desperately need something worth living for, he says, and that something is the Lord. Through the universal language of music, he is able to reach out to a hurting generation of young people. Bodhi recently released an EP entitled "Travelin' Shoes," which showcases three of his most recent all-original songs, all written, arranged and sung by Bodhi and his band. Currently, he is in the studio working to complete a full-length as-of-yet-untitled CD. In the process of expanding his ministry, Bodhi desires to reach young people with the gospel message, and to do it with his music....

Currently, Bodhi serves as the primary worship leader for Word-A-Live Family Church in Penn Valley, where he served as youth leader with his wife Amanda for several years. He leads worship for AUXANO, a college-age group that meets at Solid Rock church on the last Sunday of the month, and can often be found leading worship for InnerState Youth Ministries, a community youth ministry that meets weekly at the same church. He also may be found at his home church’s youth group A.R.M.Y., facilitating worship, sharing his passion for music, and encouraging the teens to seek the Lord in all things.
