I am the leader and the band consist of mostly pre-teens and teens who attend our church. The current band plays monthly and has been doing so for about a year. We play mostly contemporary Christian praise and worship choruses and songs. Many of our songs are chosen from the Rocking the Cross web site. There are three groups that play monthly at our church - the pastor leads one. The pastor has promoted the youth praise team as having "caught the vision" for setting the tone of worship in our church and the congregation responds enthusiastically and under the prompting of the Holy Spirit.... |
