Raishein, also known as Audrey Raishein, is an anointed singer, songwriter and recording artist. She relies on truth and writes from her own remarkable life experience. With her soaring, angelic vocals, every written song is a testimony, a page torn from her diary - and together they form her extraordinary debut album, “Believe.” Transforming her wounds into a source of strength, Raishein writes songs that speak to the perseverance of the human spirit. This is a true story - Raishein’s story. With the completion of the adroit album titled Believe, Raishein has delivered an impressive, powerful, and moving debut. As the album unfolds, Raishein leads audiences deeper into her world, walking them through a place of worship through her experiences and emotions. The CD reveals that if you believe in Jesus, he “can” make a way out of no way.
Raishein has been singing for what family members state since at least age 2, when her family recognized that she always sang Natalie Cole Songs and she would sing at the communities Talent shows and would win first place singing and playing her own compositions on the piano. She also began her education and experience as a Praise and Worship leader in her church by leading songs with the church choir and by member requested solos that she would minister. She sang about God but didn’t truly know him….yet.
Raishein began to formally pursue her gifts at age 5, enrolling in Professionally taught Music School, where she studied piano and a few years later mastered the art of voice with a vocal coach.
Throughout the past 7 years, Raishein has focused on establishing relationship with the Lord. She has realized who God really was in her life. “For a while, I didn’t really know who I was, “Raishein confesses. “I had to learn who I was in him.” She learned that Jesus didn’t want a religious relationship with her but he really wanted a personal one. So she gave her life to him, for life!
In 2002, She devoted her ministry and submitted to the house of Faith World in Orlando, Florida. She was a faithful music minister in Faith World Choir as well as the Front Line Singers in Orlando, Florida. In that experience, she sung with some of the biggest names in gospel music. During that experience and afterwards, she has been involved in a wide range of church sizes, styles and has versatility in music genre.
In 2004, She released a promotional CD entitled, “More than Me”, and then relocated with her family to Houston, Texas in obedience of where God ordered her steps to be. She joined Trinity Fellowship Church, where she is currently one of the praise and worship leaders.
Raishein revisits her experience of deliverance throughout her life in the song titled “Deliverance,” in which she speaks openly of a life of seeing God’s deliverance even when hard situations formed in her past and it seemed to be over, while she professes her loyalty to her love of God in the ballad “You Are.” Meanwhile, “Just like You,” finds Raishein proclaiming that we need to be more like Jesus, in everything we do. And the powerful song, “Grace and Mercy” proclaims how when she thought back on her won trials that God was still there even when she felt alone.
Raishein feels that ministry by music is one of the most powerful tools that is used today to reach a generation that is looking for fulfillment in this world. She uses her talents prophetically to reach the world with God's message of love, grace and hope in spite of your trials and tribulations. She believes strongly in teaching this generation how to get rid of religious mind-sets but to develop a serious relationship with Jesus Christ. Her sound as been spoken of as a voice for the nations. She uses her unique voice, love for people and heart after God to inspire others to realize that in spite of your past, you can make it with Jesus. She also believes if you trust in him, he will direct your path. Through word and song, she shares the message of hope, healing, encouragement and transformation by the power of the Holy Spirit. Her uplifting and peaceful music builds momentum and prepares the hearts of the listeners to receive God's eternal message of love, life and change of heart. Get ready in 2008 for the release of her CD entitled, “Believe.”
