"Song writing is a long and winding road. At times it is filled with potholes and squished dead animals and other moments are sunny drives down long straight highways heading into the middle of nowhere. Occasionally we arrive at a destination, but more often than not we are stuck on the side of the road trying to figure out what happened and why we are there. Our name is Quiet by Ten. Our songs are somewhere between the departure and the arrival. We have not yet accomplished what we dream, and yet we dream to accomplish what we already have. Blah, blah, blah ...eloquent biography mumbo-jumbo... To speak plainly, our goal is to offer a deeper sense of beauty and truth to this dull existence we live in. Our universe is vast and 'music' is just as big. We don't want to be another noisy sound in your stereo, we only want to speak from our own personal experience and create something worth singing about. Those are the songs that matter to us, songs that point to something bigger than ourselves. You decide whether or not our journey has been in vain."
- Jeremy Anderson (Lead Singer/Songwriter)
Quiet By Ten is a Pop/Rock band with a 1960s vintage feel and a large folk influence whose songs will make you rethink pop music. With story song-writing that takes the listener on a journey, Quiet By Ten’s focus is on the art of the music, the beauty of the lyrics and the infectiousness of their live show!
Quiet By Ten’s dynamic melodies, saddled beside their incredibly creative and fresh lyrics; gives the listener more than just another song to add to their library of overdone music. Instead, this band creates songs so original, yet catchy and accessible it leaves even the most skeptical of music critics singing along and begging for more! Their unmistakable rhythms are foot-taping fantastic!!!
"I have worked here for two years and Quiet By Ten brought more people than I have ever seen here. We were packed out!”
- Lyons Den Concert Promoter
"Quiet By Ten have a quirky and positive individuality that help them surface in the pool of homogeneity that even most good pop bands end up drowning in."
-Brian Eichelberger (Producer/Engineer)
"Quiet By Ten is one of our favorite bands to work with."
- Big Time Entertainment (Seattle, WA)
Combining brilliantly orchestrated string arrangements with hooking guitar parts, Monster Village is as good as it gets. From soaring “Yesterday” to head bopping “Simplicity” this album targets American apathy, the scars of rape, and the complications of infatuation. The title track, “Monster Village” is an allegory for the world we live in, where too often the happenings of our day to day interactions as humans seem much more like monstrosities that can overwhelm us. Their songs are so relatable for example, “Blue Eyed Girl" makes you feel like you're reliving every high school crush you ever had. "Nostradamus" is so epic in its musical and lyrical content it feels like it could have been on any Beatles record. With a hard work ethic and constant tour experience this band is destined for greatness!
