Anita is a singer/songwriter/psalmist with an uncanny vocal ability. Her smooth, 5-octave soprano is at times passionate, lyrical and soothing. At other times, she is a powerhouse who flows with a higher strength to help usher people to a greater level of praise. Anita's debut CD is entitled "R U Willing." She and hubby, Y'dell Myles, served as co-executive producers of the project while enlisting the help of Detroit's own gospel midas, Bill Moss Jr. The album received a nod as a finalist in the Independent Music Award for the category of "Best Gospel Album."
"R U Willing" deals with such issues as moving beyond past regrets, as well as claiming victory over negative and unruly influences in our lives. The project also offers toe-tapping praise & worship and a convincing remake of the Mahalia Jackson classic, "He's My Light."
