All Sons & Daughters Releases Self-Titled, 5-Star Acclaimed Album May 6 On Integrity Music

Integrity Music’s Franklin, TN-based worship duo All Sons & Daughters, composed of David Leonard and Leslie Jordan, release globally their 5-star acclaimed, self-titled studio album May 6.  Entering a new season of leaning into their own musical and lyrical instincts, the duo also taps the talents of several extraordinary songwriters, co-writing with Stu G (Delirious?), Francesca Battestelli, Derek Webb, Leeland and Jack Mooring (Leeland), Jason Ingram and Sandra McCracken.

Produced by Paul Mabury, the resulting joyful, celebratory album includes not only new co-writes, but also songs previously recorded live and now reinterpreted in the studio, such as congregational favorites “Great Are You Lord” and “God With Us.” In these and all the original worship compositions for this eponymous release, Leslie and David continue to pursue authenticity and honesty in the music they make.

“We’ve allowed ourselves to be more creative, more reflective of who we are, while still writing songs for the church,” Leslie says of the self-titled album.

“You Will Remain,” which is available for pre-sell on iTunes and Amazon beginning tomorrow (April 22), was the first song written for the record. Its melody led Leslie and David to the Gospel of John where Jesus refers to himself as ‘I AM.’ “We were struck by the truth of it,” Leslie says. “He didn’t say ‘I was’ or ‘I will be,’ but ‘I AM.’ And he wasn’t overstating anything... the constant, unfailing nature of God and his goodness. We never tire of leading this one.”

“As a break in the maddening rush of pulsing music and even more so as a worship oriented music offering with stunning quality of lyric and melody, All Sons & Daughters is a wonderful achievement and a gift to the Church,” says Worship Leader Magazine in their 5-Star review of the album.  “With the now familiar ASAD enchanting sound, David Leonard and Leslie Jordan create a tapestry of music with their gentle voices lacing together to do the double job of creating beauty and center the focus of our hearts in worship of our great God.”

That tapestry was also artfully crafted into a mixed media piece created by Deeann Rieves for the All Sons & Daughters cover artwork. “We asked Deeann, who is familiar with our work, to listen to the new record and paint a piece that fits what you hear. What you see on the cover is really unique,” says David.  “We feel like we’re standing on the foundation of the fragments and pieces, musically speaking, building on the changes we’ve encountered over the past few years.”

Taking great care to make music that meets people where they are, finding the pulse of the people in the cities where they play while serving and resourcing musicians and worship leaders, All Sons & Daughters just wrapped up a 26-city tour with author and guest speaker Jamie George.  George is also a pastor at Journey Church, where David and Leslie serve on staff as worship leaders.

Continuing to lead their acclaimed new music alongside their repertoire of audience favorites, All Sons & Daughters will be the featured music guest on Moody Radio’s "One Cry Prayer Summit" on the National Day of Prayer, May 1. The performance will air live nationally during Moody’s two-hour evening broadcast.

Following the National Day of Prayer, the duo heads overseas for their first tour of Europe, hitting the UK for Big Church Day Out (May 25), Glasgow, Scotland (May 31) and Uppsala, Sweden (July 31) amidst several events in the US before starting the fall Neon Steeple tour with Crowder in October.

All Sons & Daughters continue to inspire audiences with their acoustic, organic folk aesthetic and lyrics that focus squarely on Jesus while embracing the tension of the Christian walk.  Hailed by fans and critics alike, All Sons & Daughters have released three EPs and two full-length albums featuring songs such as “All The Poor and Powerless,” “Brokenness Aside,” "Great Are You Lord" and "Oh How I Need You." Their most recent full-length project, a CD/DVD titled LIVE, garnered the duo its first Dove Award nominations with nods in the “Praise & Worship Album” and “Long Form Video” categories.
