Amy Grant’s “Baby, Baby (Remix)” Hits Top 10 on  Billboard’s Hot Dance Club Play Chart

Six-time GRAMMY® Award winner Amy Grant’s original Billboard No. 1 hit "Baby, Baby" has returned to the charts in a new form. The remixed version of the single broke into the Top 10 this week, landing at No. 8, on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart, building buzz for the release of her first remix album In Motion: The Remixes on August 19. GRAMMY®-nominated producer, DJ and remixer Dave Audé put a new spin on the hit, which originally topped the Billboard Hot 100 Chart for two consecutive weeks in 1991.

Later this year, Grant will be the celebrity guest on the 72nd Annual Santa Train as it makes its journey to bring gifts to Appalachian families on Saturday, Nov. 22. Making 14 stops through Kentucky, Virginia and Tennessee, Santa Train delivers toys and winter accessories to thousands of children and families along the way. Amy will accompany Santa and event sponsors CSX, Dignity U Wear, Food City and the Kingsport Chamber of Commerce on the 110-mile trek.

“I’m incredibly excited to be the celebrity guest on this year’s Santa Train,” Grant said. “It’s important to give back to the community, especially during the holidays, and I’m glad I can help.” 

Next month, Amy Grant will also give back to the American Cancer Society. Teaming up with Athena® Bottled Water, Amy will perform at a private, invitation-only event in Nashville, “Eat. Drink. Party Pink.” on September 30 to kick off October as Breast Cancer Awareness month. Also performing at the event is country singer, former contestant on American Idol and Dancing With the Stars, and fellow Athena® Warrior Kellie Pickler. During the festivities, Amy will debut a new song, “Welcome Yourself,” which will later be available for sale on iTunes with proceeds donated to the American Cancer Society.
